The position is part of a team of three, led by a general accounting manager for France. The general accounting department is responsible for the accounting of seven legal entities and the statutory consolidation of the group. This position focuses on the group's largest legal entity in France (Biocodex SAS France), but the department operates collaboratively to ensure versatility and backup support.

Biocodex is a French pharmaceutical company founded in 1953 around the development and marketing of the world's first probiotic yeast strain,  Saccharomyces boulardii  CNCM I-745®. Today, Biocodex is developing around three pillars:  microbiomes; women's health; and orphan diseases .

Biocodex employs over 1,600 people and generated net sales of over €500 million in 2022, with one-third in France and two-thirds internationally. The Biocodex Group operates in 115 countries, including 16 through its own subsidiaries. Its products are distributed worldwide by partner companies.

Main responsibilities: Relates to the BIOCODEX entity

• Maintaining day-to-day accounting records, including fixed assets


• Formalization and analysis of accounts (account justification)


• Loading and processing in BFC (consolidation software)


• Preparation and filing of VAT, DEB, IS and other taxes ,  including pharmaceutical taxes


• Corporate income tax calculations / profit-sharing / incentive payments


• Preparation of the tax return


• Processing of monthly, quarterly and annual closings


• Auditors' point of contact for the scope of the position (1 legal entity)


• Participation in the implementation of projects involving the service


• Participation in the streamlining of accounting processes

Profil souhaité

Profile: * Minimum of a Master's degree in Accounting (DSCG or higher) * 5+ years of experience in general accounting * Experience in an accounting firm preferred (> 2 years) * Proactive, solution-oriented, and service-driven * Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inform, explain, and persuade * English * Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel essential; good knowledge of IT tools OTHER INFORMATION Contract type: Permanent Location: Gentilly Benefits: Employee benefits package, remote work, 70% contribution to transportation costs, employee social benefits, etc. This position is open to people with disabilities.
