Position Summary



The Medical Affairs Apprentice will support the Global Medical Affairs Leads responsible for Rare Metabolic and Dermato-Oncology Diseases. The role provides exposure to a broad range of global medical affairs activities, including medical information, scientific communications, medical review of materials, investigator-initiated studies (IIS), collaborative research initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific events.



This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an international Medical Affairs environment while contributing to activities that support patient care and scientific advancement in rare diseases.



 



Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive)




  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Medical Information capabilities for the Rare Metabolic and Dermato-Oncology portfolio.

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate, balanced, compliant, and timely responses to Medical Information requests.

  • Support the creation and maintenance of scientific resources, including standard response documents, FAQs, and product knowledge databases.

  • Participate in the medical review process for promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.

  • Support the management of Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), collaborative research projects, and expanded access/compassionate use programs.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of scientific meetings, advisory boards, symposia, and educational events, including expert identification, content development, and logistical coordination.

  • Contribute to RRD's presence at major scientific congresses and conferences through booth support, literature surveillance, and congress reporting.

  • Conduct literature reviews and scientific landscape analyses to support medical strategy and evidence generation activities.

  • Assist with the implementation of Medical Affairs policies, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support Medical Affairs objectives.

  • Participate in additional projects and activities as required.




  • Location: Puteaux, Hauts-de-Seine (92), France (La Défense station)

  • Contract Type: Apprenticeship

  • Start Date: September/October 2026

  • Duration: 12 months

  • Compensation: In accordance with the applicable apprenticeship scale

  • Benefits:

    • 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs

    • Lunch vouchers (€10 per voucher, with €4.5 contributed by the apprentice)

    • Hybrid working model with up to 2 days of remote work per week



Profil souhaité

Education




  • Currently pursuing or holding an advanced scientific degree (Masters, PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).



Qualifications & Skills




  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Interest in rare diseases.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to critically evaluate, interpret, and communicate complex scientific and clinical information.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.
